Nabis

Licensed wholesale distributor and B2B marketplace pairing warehousing, delivery, and invoice factoring with an ordering portal.

Nabis is a licensed cannabis distributor that runs its own wholesale marketplace, which makes it a different kind of listing from the software-only marketplaces it competes with. Founded in 2017 by former Microsoft and Facebook engineers Vince Ning and Jun Lee, it holds distribution licenses in California, New York, and Nevada, and operates five facilities, roughly 90 vehicles, and a flagship supercenter with over 87,000 square feet of storage. For brands, Nabis is an outsourced route to market rather than a listing tool. It picks up finished batches on a recurring schedule, schedules and supervises final compliance testing, warehouses inventory by batch and SKU, delivers to retailers, and then collects on COD and net-terms invoices. The portal handles order creation, delivery tracking, inventory by facility, COA and license uploads, and CRM for account acquisition, with analytics covering best sellers, regional performance, and retail purchasing behavior. For retailers, it is a single ordering menu across roughly 400 brands and thousands of SKUs with two-day delivery in California and New York, no order minimums, and invoice payment inside the portal. Nabis Capital adds non-recourse invoice factoring so brands selling on net terms can convert receivables to cash, priced by a proprietary retailer credit tier that runs from about 2.5% for excellent credit to 15% for poor. The company reports powering over $1 billion in annual licensed cannabis commerce and serving more than 1,400 retailers, and in January 2026 acquired the distribution assets of Humble Cannabis Solutions to expand its California footprint. The tradeoff to weigh is dependency. Handing pickup, storage, delivery, collections, and financing to one counterparty removes a great deal of operational overhead, and it also concentrates your route to market, your receivables, and your fee exposure in a single vendor.
